An injury has forced Prithvi Shaw out of the West Indies A tour that's set to begin next week. Ruturaj Gaikwad, who has been making rapid strides over the past 12 months, will be replacing Shaw for the tour that comprises of five 50-over games.

Wicket-keeper batsman Ishan Kishan has also earned a call up in place of Rishabh Pant who was summoned to India's World Cup squad earlier this month as a replacement for the injured Shikhar Dhawan. Mayank Agarwal is the other person missing out from the India A squad after he too joined the national side as the replacement for Vijay Shankar who became the latest casualty in the World Cup.

Mayank's spot will be taken by Anmolpreet Singh, an aggressive opener who has been making the right noise in the domestic circuit.

The one-day series will begin on July 11, 2019.
