Sixth seed Andy Murray advanced to his fourth Australian Open final as he fought back from a set down to beat seventh seed Tomas Berdych 6-7(6), 6-0, 6-3, 7-5 on Thursday night in Melbourne.

"I played very, very well tonight," said Murray. "I'm very happy with the way that I played the match. To be in the final four times here, I mean, because I'm surrounded by guys like Roger, Novak and Rafa, doesn't look like much, but that doesn't happen that often. So I'm very proud of that."

The Scot is bidding to become the first man in the Open Era to win the Australian Open title after losing three finals. Murray finished runner-up at Melbourne Park in 2010 (l. Roger Federer), 2011 (l. Djokovic) and 2013 (l. Djokovic).
