All-rounder Mitchell Marsh will re-join the Travis Head-led Australia A side, after having served as a cover for the injured Marcus Stoinis in Australia's World Cup squad.

Marsh had been flown in to England as a cover for Stoinis, who suffered a side strain in the match against India. It kept him out of Australia's next game - against Pakistan - but has now regained full fitness ahead of the Bangladesh fixture.

With Stoinis back, Marsh returned to the A squad, in Northampton, on Tuesday - just two days ahead of their tour opener against Northamptonshire with the first of the five unofficial ODIs - a day-night clash - followed by two unofficial Tests - against Sussex and England Lions.

Along with Marsh, Australia had another A team member amongst them in the lead-up to the Bangladesh game. Left-arm spinner Ashton Agar was at the training sessions of the Australian side in order to get them used to the challenge of facing a bowler of similar ilk in the Bangladesh camp - Shakib Al Hasan. Both Agar and Marsh have now returned for their A side duties, much to the delight of their skipper Travis Head.

" It's nice to see them showcase their skill and go show they're still there around the (national) mark. Both enjoyed it, both went really well and it's nice to have them back.," Head told cricket.com.au.
