Minister: Ukraine's biathlon team will not go to the World Cup in Tyumen

KIEV, March 13 (Itar-Tass) - RIA Novosti. Ukraine's biathlon team will not participate in the final stage of the World Cup in Tyumen, Ukrainian Youth and Sports Minister Igor Zhdanov said on Tuesday.

According to the minister, the corresponding decision was made after a meeting with the president of the Ukrainian Biathlon Federation, Vladimir Brynzak.

"They discussed the situation that arose around the last stage of the World Cup in biathlon ... It was decided jointly that the national team of Ukraine will not participate in the ninth stage of the World Cup in Tyumen," Zhdanov wrote on his Facebook page.

The World Cup in Tyumen will be held on March 22-25.
