Bayern will be back for Hudson-Odoi
Goal reports that defending German champions Bayern Munich will return for Chelsea's Callum Hudson-Odoi in the summer.

That's according to their CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, who has commented that he is convinced the Chelsea teenager is the right fit for the club.

Maurizio Sarri managed to keep the winger at Stamford Bridge despite rumours of a transfer request, and the 18-year-old winger has made 11 appearances in all competitions this season.

"I guess [Bayern sporting director] Hasan [Salihamidzic] is a bit like [club president] Uli [Hoeness]," Rummenigge said.

"We also had transfers in the past that didn't work at the first attempt but at the second. And that's what we will work on now.

"To lay down a marker costs money. We want the best quality players here at Bayern and Hasan is absolutely convinced of that player."

West Ham had Medel interest
West Ham United manager Manuel Pellegrini has admitted that the club wanted to sign Gary Medel this month.

The 31-year-old Chilean was targeted by his compatriot as a player who could play a number of different positions and add to the depth of the squad, but there were complications when it came to dealing with his current side, Besiktas.

Pellegrini was initially told that Medel would be available on a free transfer, but when this turned out not to be the case, the club would have had to sell a player in order to bring him in, and this was not an option.

"The only player we had interest in was Gary Medel," said Pellegrini.

"They told us it was free and we were interested because he can play in two or three positions. But then it turned out the player was not free."

Bakayoko keen on staying in Italy
AC Milan Sporting director has indicated that Chelsea's on-loan midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko would like to stay on a permanent deal after the end of this season according to Corriere dello Sport.

The Serie A side will have to fork out £30 million to make the move permanent. Bakayoko has been a regular in the Milan lineup in recent weeks, and has made 25 appearances in all competitions this season.

The Frenchman has since commented on the possibility of remaining in Italy, saying: "I have a contract with Chelsea. Right now I just want to finish the season in the top four. After that we'll think about it."

Football Whispers' top five emerging whispers
Football Whispers' transfer algorithm gives the likelihood of rumours happening a score out of five.

Jadon Sancho to Manchester United -- 1.5

Dortmund now value the former Manchester City youth at £90m, but according to the Metro that won't deter Manchester United who want to bring him back to England and annoy their neighbours.

Gary Cahill to Fulham -- 3.6

The Chelsea defender rejected a number of offers this month, with a number of clubs interested including Monaco, Juventus and Fulham. However, he'll have to look for another club in the summer when his contract expires, and Fulham are currently the favourites.

Ivan Rakitic to Chelsea -- 1.0

The Barcelona midfielder was linked with a move to Chelsea this month, and would have been a good fit in Sarri's system, but he has since indicated his desire to sign a new deal at La Liga champions.

Steven Bergwijn to Manchester United -- 2.4

This was always going to be one for the summer, rather than January, and Sky Sports believe that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side will follow up their interest in the PSV winger when the transfer window next opens.

Luciano Acosta to Paris Saint-Germain -- 3.6

This one almost happened, but according to the Athletic the clubs couldn't agree a fee within the deadline and the Argentine remains at D.C. United. This also suggests it could be revived in the summer when negotiations can continue.
