The transfer window for Europe's biggest clubs might be closed, but they are still working tirelessly behind the scenes to line up the arrivals of their next stars. Transfer Talk has been scouring the world's media to see who could be heading to your club when Jan. 1 arrives.

TOP STORY: Pogba being shown the door at Man Utd
Manchester United will try to sell Paul Pogba once the January transfer window opens, according to a report in the Mirror.

It has long been thought that United would let go of either Jose Mourinho or Pogba, with the two apparently not able to coexist at Old Trafford.

Pogba's exit could upset other players in the dressing room as Mourinho tries to assert his authority.

The France international won't come cheap, with United having paid £89 million for him in 2016, but the report says Juventus are interested in bringing the World Cup winner back to Italy and could offer Miralem Pjanic or Alex Sandro in exchange to help lower the fee.

Meanwhile, the Express suggests Mourinho could also be on his way out of United to return to his former side Inter Milan.

They are currently managed by Luciano Spalletti and sit third in Serie A but are set to offer the Portuguese the chance to come back next summer.

Mourinho won a Treble with the club in 2010, and they will hope that he can get them back to winning ways in Europe after they exited the Champions League last week.

LIVE BLOG
13.00 GMT: Newcastle winger Rolando Aarons is returning to the club after his spell on loan at Czech Republic club Slovan Liberec, the Chronicle reports.

11.55 GMT: The future of Isco at Real Madrid has looked bleak since Santiago Solari took over as coach, and his time at the club may have reached a nadir on Saturday.

According to Marca, the Spain midfielder did not even warm up along with the other Madrid substitutes during the drab 1-0 win over Rayo Vallecano.

Were the 26-year-old to become available in January, he would have no shortage of suitors. With Manchester City's Brahim Diaz nearing a move to the European champions, Isco could well be on the move.

10.55 GMT: Liverpool's squad has an additional midfielder in it before the January transfer window has even opened.

England under-21 international Ovie Ejaria has had his loan spell at Rangers cut short as he felt unsettled in Glasgow despite making 27 appearances for Steven Gerrard's side.

Liverpool said in a statement: "Following discussions between the two clubs, as well as Ejaria and his family, it has been determined an early return to the Reds is in the best interests of all parties concerned."

09.47 GMT: Boca Juniors' rising star Cristian Pavon has long been linked with a move to Europe, and the Mail on Sunday reports that Arsenal could be the club to bring him across the Atlantic in January.

Pavon, 22, was linked with the Gunners a year ago as a potential replacement for Alexis Sanchez, but Boca then insisted that the attacking midfielder would stay until at least the end of their Copa Libertadores campaign.

With that ending in heartbreak for Boca in the second leg of the final at the Bernabeu earlier this month, now may be the time to cash in on one of their star assets, with a fee of around £40m being touted for the Argentina international.

08.35 GMT: Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez could be on his way back to the Premier League with Arsenal, according to The Sun on Sunday.

The report claims the 24-year-old -- who had a stint at Manchester City as a youth player but only made two League Cup appearances in as many years -- could move to the Emirates in January for as little as £14m.

07.04 GMT: We're getting Transfer Talk kicked off nice and early today with news that West Ham are plotting a loan move for Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira, according to the Sunday Mirror.

The 22-year-old is reportedly keen to get some first-team football. He has finally made his first Premier League and Champions League starts for United after four years on the club's books, which have included loan spells at Granada and Valencia, but has not cemented a first-team place.

The Brazil international has reportedly turned down the offer of a three-year contract extension, with Arsenal and Chelsea linked with interest in poaching him in the summer.

PAPER TALK: Chelsea pounce for Pulisic
Chelsea are ready to pay £60 million for Dortmund attacker Christian Pulisic and could confirm the deal next month, according to the Mail.

The United States international has been linked with a host of English sides since emerging as a teenage star in the Bundesliga, and has indicated that Chelsea are his club of choice, the report says.

Pulisic is the great hope for the U.S. going into a new era under Gregg Berhalter, and could be eased into a similarly important role at Chelsea. In order to beat other clubs to his signature, the Blues will have to give him assurances along these lines.

Playing mostly from the right, he would be seen as a long-term replacement for Willian and Pedro, who are now in their 30s.

Barca want Christensen for Christmas
Barcelona have made an offer for Chelsea centre-back Andreas Christensen, according to Sport, amid fears that Samuel Umtiti will need surgery on a knee injury.

The Liga champions have asked about a loan move but are some way from an agreement.

Ernesto Valverde has moved to quash these rumours more or less instantly.

"We'll see what happens, but I'm happy to manage with what I have," he said in a news conference ahead of his side's game against Levante.

So he's telling us there's a chance?

This one could rumble on but ,with first-team football proving difficult to come by at Chelsea, Christensen could move sooner rather than later.

Arsenal or Tottenham for Grillitsch
Hoffenheim midfielder Florian Grillitsch paid a visit to England this week when his side faced Manchester City in the Champions League, but according to Bild, he might be looking for a more permanent move to the UK.

According to the German outlet, the player's agent, Thomas Boehm, joined his client on the trip, fuelling rumours that he will join Arsenal or Tottenham.

The Austrian would add a defensive midfield presence to whichever club he joins, but with Arsenal's Granit Xhaka looking better alongside new signing Lucas Torreira, Tottenham might need him more at this moment in time.

"Flo is the focus of top clubs," said his agent, and the 23-year-old would not be cup-tied in Europe due to UEFA's rule changes for this season.
