LONDON, England -- Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's shooting secrets are turning Marcus Rashford into a lethal finisher, according to Jesse Lingard.

Lingard watched Manchester United's caretaker boss work with Rashford during the warm weather training camp in Dubai and the extra training reaped immediate rewards as the 21-year-old striker scored the winner against Tottenham at Wembley.

"Throughout the training sessions in Dubai he's been practicing his finishing with the manager," Lingard said.

"It's prepared him for big games and moments like that."

Solskjaer scored 126 goals during 11 years as a United player and his goalscoring tips have helped Rashford score in three consecutive Premier League games for the first time in his career.

The England forward is in a rich vein of form having scored six goals in his last nine games and Lingard says the whole team is benefitting from a new philosophy under the Norwegian.

"We want to attack, we want to make those runs forward," Lingard said.

"The midfielders are running forward and we're putting other teams under pressure. It's working and we need to carry it on."

Victory at Wembley on Sunday made it six wins out of six for Solskjaer but United needed a stunning second-half performance from goalkeeper David De Gea to keep Tottenham out.

He has a contract at Old Trafford until 2020 and is in talks over a new deal and Lingard says everyone in the dressing room is desperate for the 28-year-old, who has been linked with Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus, to commit his future to the club.

"We want him to stay," Lingard said. "Having a keeper like that gives you extra confidence. He's a great goalkeeper.

"It was normal day for him! He was excellent.

"They looked like scoring but he's saved us. We see that in training and it pays off when it comes to the big games. Some of his saves, you're like 'oh my god'. He's one of the best keepers in the world, if not the best."
