Philipp Lahm has urged the Bayern Munich hierarchy to tie down Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery as he feels both wingers still have plenty to offer.

Robben and Ribery's contracts are due to expire at the end of the season and Bayern has yet to open talks with the duo over a renewal, fueling speculation they could be on the move come June 2017.

Lahm, however, wants the experienced attackers to stay put and hopes Bayern will hold on to the duo for at least one more season.

"I would definitely welcome it if both Robben and Ribery would stay put for another year," Lahm told Sport1. "You simply still see each game that they have incredible quality.

"They have a lot of experience and have been playing at the highest level for a number of years. They know a thing or two about what it means to play football at a world-class level."
