Kofi Kingston returns to a hero’s welcome upon visit to Ghana
They say that, “Home is where the heart is.” For Kofi Kingston, that statement couldn’t have rang any truer when he made his historic return to Ghana this week.
Celebrating what he considers to be his “Year of Return,” the WWE Champion received a hero’s welcome upon making his first visit to Ghana in 26 years. As family and friends surprised him at the airport, so did a band and plenty of supporters outside.
“It was honestly the best, possible welcoming that I could’ve ever asked for,” Kingston said moments before visiting President Akufo-Addo at the Jubilee House, where he presented him with a WWE Title.
