Former WWE Champion and commentator JBL is in Malawi this week, where he is helping to set up programs for a sprawling new sports facility alongside the for-profit charity Bhubesi Pride Foundation.

The complex, which WWE.com reported on earlier this year, is expected to feature both sports and education programs ranging from the existing rugby youth program to basketball, netball and volleyball. Additionally, it will provide life-skills education and partner with relevant organizations to offer “tutoring, adult learning, healthcare, IT and teacher training” in the hopes of creating local jobs for one of the most poverty-stricken areas in the world.

JBL has been in meetings in Llilongwe, the rural area where the complex is scheduled to be built, all week. Take a look at the progress below, and to donate to the project, visit the group’s GoFundMe page. For more about the project, visit Bhubesi Pride Foundation at rugbyinafrica.org.
