Karun Nair has been added to the India A squad for the second four-day game against England Lions in Mysore. KL Rahul will lead the side in the contest, taking over from Ankeet Bawne who was named captain for the ongoing game in Wayanad.

Nair was last part of the Karnataka side in the semifinal of the Ranji trophy against Saurashtra, returning scores of 9 and 15. Rahul, on the other hand, was brought into the A side for the last three one-dayers against the England Lions after a suspension cut short his trip of Australia-New Zealand with the national team. He managed just 55 runs across the three games and will hope for a turn of fortunes in the red-ball contest.
