The women's slalom continues to be affected by weather conditions in Pyeongchang as the alpine skiing event is postponed for the second time this Winter Games.

The event, which was originally scheduled to take place at 8:45 p.m. ET (11:45 a.m. in Korea), was delayed an hour before it was postponed to Thursday's coverage (Friday in Korea).

Mikaela Shiffrin will have to wait to make her highly anticipated debut in Pyeongchang as she's set to compete for the U.S. as a favorite to win gold.
Both the women's and men's alpine skiing events were postponed earlier this week as wind gusts reached 45 mph, making it dangerous for the athletes to compete.
