THE Reds thrashed the Hammers but Jurgen Klopp’s goal celebration might have been a tad excessive.

Meanwhile, another Merseyside hero has publicly slated a fellow Premier League team live on air.

KLOPP’S STRANGE CELEBRATION
Liverpool registered their 500th Premier League win with a 4-0 victory over West Ham, but it was Reds boss Jurgen Klopp who took managerial celebrations to new heights — or into strange new areas at least.

After Sadio Mane knocked the ball into an empty net from a James Milner pullback, Klopp celebrated in the most bizarre way.

Hunched forward and shaking his fists wildly around his crotch area, the celebration definitely turned some heads — and left many on social media wondering exactly what he was getting at.

You can’t say the man isn’t passionate.

SALAH’S INSANE GOALSCORING RECORD
The Reds got their season off to a flying start, and it was fan favourite Mohamed Salah leading the way once again.

The Egyptian’s goal against West Ham meant that he has now scored 29 goals in his last 29 Premier League appearances for the Reds.

‘I DON’T LIKE WOLVES’
BT Sport pundit Steve McManaman has been blasted after being caught insulting Premier League new boys Wolves live on air.

The former Liverpool star appeared to think his mic was turned off as he was heard taking a swipe at the Midlanders.

PEEVED POGBA TAKES VEILED SHOT AT JOSE
Macca’s comment came after Wolves twice came from behind to salvage a point against ten-man Everton on Saturday evening.

As ex-Wolves boss Mick McCarthy spoke after the game, McManaman can be heard in the background loudly claiming “I don’t like Wolves”.

Now fans are calling the “biased” and “unprofessional” commentator to be given the boot for his outburst.

THE PL IS BACK... AND SO IS ARSENAL FAN TV
Waking up the morning after a Gunners game and watching Arsenal Fan TV can be great. But if you’re an Arsenal fan, it can’t be too enjoyable.

The start of the Premier League season marks the return of the controversial YouTube channel.

The show is centred around passionate fans reflecting on the game outside the Emirates, which often involves some rather harsh language directed at either the manager or the board.

And Arsenal’s 2-0 defeat at the hands of the champions overnight meant an opening day tirade was inevitable.
