A CROWD of up to 50,000 people is still expected to pour into Suncorp Stadium tonight, despite the series having already been decided.

Tickets were still available Tuesday night, starting from $65 for juniors (4 to 15-years-old) and $70 for adults.

Empty seats still remained along the front rows of the Western Stand last night, with Ticketek having tickets available for up to $300 in row four along the 20m line. Organisers were confident of a strong turnout from Queensland supporters who will be hoping the home team can avoid a series whitewash.

Maroons fans will still have something to cheer about regardless of the result, with a special captain’s tribute and a Cameron Smith farewell planned in pre-game entertainment.

It will also be a chance for Queenslanders to farewell fullback Billy Slater in his final Origin match.

An NRL spokesman said that ticket sales had been strong and there were still some available for tonight’s clash, including single seats and restricted viewing.

“We’re very comfortable with the support for Game Three,” the spokesman said.

“And there’s still some good seats available.”
