The inside word from captain George Bailey
Young gun: "Ben McDermott. The knowledge of his game has matured over the last couple of years. We've seen what a phenomenal striker of the ball he can be in T20 cricket. If he can replicate that form and build some really big innings he's going to be a really exciting player."
Player to watch: "Aaron Summers is one. If he gets a game he's going to be really exciting. With the ball in his hand, something always happens."
Team strength: "We've got a bit of pace in our bowling attack, which is always nice to have and we’ve developed a team that's full of match winners."
Biggest threat: "I think everyone is. Queensland have been really consistent across all formats for a number of years and we're playing a bit of the tournament on their home turf so that will be a challenge. But I'm going to sit on the fence there. Everyone will be a challenge."
The fixtures:
September 19 v Victoria (Riverway Stadium)
September 22 v Queensland (Riverway Stadium)
September 25 v New South Wales (North Sydney Oval, D/N)
September 27 v South Australia (Bankstown)
October 1 v Queensland (Drummoyne Oval, D/N)
