Wind gusts near 20 MPH changed the plot Saturday at the Hero World Challenge, and Tiger Woods struggled to find his early-tournament form.

Woods, making his first start since February, shot consecutive rounds in the 60s Thursday and Friday, but he bogeyed five of his first 10 holes in Round 3 to fall down the leaderboard.

Woods did finish with two late birdies to shoot a 3-over 75, but he essentially shot himself out of contention after Charley Hoffman extended his lead to five strokes at 14 under.

Here are Sunday's top contenders:

Charley Hoffman (-14) — Not only is Hoffman leading the week in birdies, he's also leading in putting. Though he's struggled to find fairways, he's been taking advantage of par 5s and draining everything in sight. Hoffman had 12 birdies in Friday's Round 2, and he survived Saturday's tough conditions with a 2-under 70.

Justin Rose (-9) — Rose entered the week as the hottest player in the field, and he hasn't disappointed thus far. A resident of the Bahamas, he's looked calm and comfortable trying to win. Rose will likely have to shoot something special Sunday to surpass Hoffman with more docile conditions expected.

Jordan Spieth (-9) — Like most of the field, Spieth shot his worst round Saturday while missing a number of short putts. No lead is safe with Spieth lurking, but he's going to have to fix his putting issues to make a deep run.

Others to watch:

Tiger Woods (-4) — Woods lost his smooth rhythm early Saturday, but calmed down on the back nine. This week is a win if he exits it healthy and in decent form.

Hideki Matsuyama (-7) — The defending champ was 7 under through 15 holes Friday, proving he can go low on this course. If he catches fire again Sunday he could post a score for Hoffman to consider while playing the back nine.
