The Belgium international scored the goal which killed off Tottenham's chances of winning the league, but the former Arsenal striker remains disappointed by his performances
Ian Wright says Eden Hazard was "absolutely magnificent" in Chelsea's 2-2 draw with Tottenham Hotspur on Monday night, but feels the attacker should be ashamed of himself for the way he has played this season.

The Belgium international has been heavily criticised for his poor form this term, with his equalising goal which ended Spurs' title hopes and confirmed Leicester as Premier League champions only bringing his tally to three goals in 28 appearances in the top flight.

And Wright believes Hazard and Chelsea were motivated by their desire to kill off their rivals' title chances and is amazed it has taken the 25-year-old so long to "come to life" this season.

"Chelsea have been a disgrace the way they have played this season," he told The Sun. "Eden Hazard has been a disgrace the way he's played this season. "That was the old Hazard last night, he came back and he was absolutely magnificent and should be ashamed of himself.
"But that’s what happens when you play against a team that you don’t want to win something and Chelsea were up for it, unfortunately for Tottenham.
"Look at Hazard’s goal — it’s a world class goal from a world class player — he is a quality player who came to life."
