Indian top order batsman KL Rahul has been included in the India A four-day squad for the opening game against England Lions. Rahul, who was drafted into the A squad in the middle of the one-day series will continue to get more games under his belt after returning from Australia midway following a suspension which was lifted last week.

Ankit Bawne has been named captain of the 14-man squad that also has Priyank Panchal and Abhimanyu Easwaran as the top order batsmen. Andhra wicketkeeper-batsman Srikar Bharat has been chosen as the gloveman with Jalaj Saxena donning the role of the allrounder.

The squad has two more spinners in Mayank Markande and Shahbaz Nadeem apart from Saxena with Navdeep Saini, Shardul Thakur, Avesh Khan and Varun Aaron forming the pace quartet. The game will be played from February 7 in Wayanad with the second and final game also scheduled to take place at the same venue from February 13.
