Leyton Orient fans forced their game against Colchester to be abandoned when they invaded the pitch to protest against the club's owners.

Sitting bottom of the table as they lined up for their last home game of the season, the club have already been relegated from the bottom of the England's fourth tier - dropping out of the Football League (EFL) for the first time in 112 years.

There's no way that this game is getting finished today. Orient fans in open rebellion now. *whispers* ...and good for them...

As well as new sporting lows, Orient failed to pay their staff's wages on time in March and the EFL has yet to receive a response to a letter sent questioning the club on the situation.

The O's fans have long expressed their anger towards owner Francesco Becchetti and took to the field to interrupt Saturday's game.

We had to protest like this, whatever the ramifications. Taken to the brink by a psychopathic owner & betrayed by the EFL and FA.

As they sat 3-1 down with five minutes remaining, hundreds of fans took to the field and stood in front of the director's box, and led chants telling Becchetti to "f**k off, Orient is ours".

People still on the pitch...been over an hour now. Can't see this game resuming...
