LACHIE Neale has reportedly told Peter Bell he has played his last game for Fremantle.

The Dockers ball-winner, who becomes a free agent at the end of next year, has requested a trade to Brisbane this off-season but the club is reluctant to let him go.

The Lions have tabled pick No.5 in the deal for Neale, but it is understood the Dockers would only do the deal if another late first-round pick was thrown in as well.

After making his feelings known to coach Ross Lyon and chief executive Steve Rosich, the Herald Sun is reporting Neale has now had a discussion with new football boss Bell and urged him to get the deal done.

The 25-year-old is understood to be frustrated at Fremantle’s approach to negotiations with the Lions and could yet go public himself to make his feelings known.

The Dockers are also locked in negotiations with Melbourne over key forward Jesse Hogan, attempting to get the trade across the line with pick No.11 and a future second-round selections. The Demons have emphatically rejected the offer.

Should they agree to move Neale on, pick No.5 should help get the Hogan deal done.
