Final teams: Fremantle v Collingwood

COLLINGWOOD has confirmed star Dayne Beams' comeback in black and white, and will play with only six on the bench against Fremantle after leaving ex-Dockers forward Chris Mayne and Flynn Appleby in Melbourne.

Meanwhile, the Dockers will get their first look at recruits Jesse Hogan, Rory Lobb and Travis Colyer, while impressive mature-age draftee Brett Bewley is also in the side.

Lobb will support ruckman Scott Jones after youngster Sean Darcy wasn't risked following a hamstring/back issue in a recent intraclub.

Conditions are set to be stifling in Joondalup, with the mercury pushing beyond 38 degrees two hours before bouncedown.

The Pies have named 12 members of last year's Grand Final side, while former Bulldogs key defender Jordan Roughead has been named for his club debut.

Ex-Brisbane skipper Beams is in for his first game for Collingwood since 2014 after being traded back to the club where he became a premiership player in 2010.

Highly rated Collingwood drafee Isaac Quaynor is in for his first game, while Monday's clash also marks young Freo defender Griffin Logue's comeback from a season ruined by a foot problem.

The Pies have rested star midfielder Adam Treloar and giant Mason Cox, while Taylor Adams (finger), Will Hoskin-Elliott (leg), Jordan De Goey (foot) and Jeremy Howe (leg) were unavailable for selection.

Fremantle will be without superstar skipper Nat Fyfe (elbow), Connor Blakely (hamstring), Stephen Hill (quad) and Aaron Sandilands (calf).
