The Giants have hit yet another roadblock.

Cornerback Janoris Jenkins will be placed on injured reserve, ending his season, according to an ESPN report.

According to ESPN, Jenkins will have surgery on his ankle Wednesday.

Jenkins, 29, has dealt with the ankle injury most of the season and reaggravated it Thursday against the Redskins, when he returned an interception for a touchdown.

Jenkins was suspended for one game this season after the Giants' bye week for a violation of team rules. After he was reinstated, he was called out by the media for his lack of effort, which prompted him to turn up the heat
