Eredivisie: PSV Eindhoven remain a point ahead of Ajax after a 3-1 success away to FC
There were wins for the Eredivisie's leading sides on Saturday night - and plenty of goals along the way.
PSV Eindhoven remain a point ahead of Ajax at the summit after a 3-1 success away to FC Dordrecht, coming from behind after Mart Lieder's sixth-minute opener.
Georginio Wijnaldum equalised, Luuk de Jong gave PSV the lead on the stroke of half-time, Wijnaldum's second made the game safe and Dordrecht then had Ilias Haddad sent off.
Ajax had a comfortable time of things against Willem II, winning 5-0 and killing the game off in the first half-hour.
Kolbeinn Sigthorsson scored the opener and though he went off with an ankle injury after just 18 minutes, his replacement Arkadiusz Milik made it 2-0 before defender Joel Veltman added the third.
Milik scored again before the break and Davy Klaassen rounded off the scoring before the hour mark.
Third-placed Feyenoord won 5-2 away to Rotterdam neighbours Excelsior with two goals from Lex Immers.
The midfielder put his side 3-0 up at half-time, adding to earlier strikes from Colin Kazim-Richards and Jean-Paul Boetius.
Jeff Stans pulled one back but Jens Toornstra and Immers rounded off victory and Sven van Beek's late own goal was scarcely relevant.
AZ lie fourth after a 2-0 win over Go Ahead Eagles, Aron Johansson opening the scoring before 18-year-old Dabney dos Santos netted his first senior goal.
NAC Breda won 1-0 away to Cambuur Leeuwarden, Erik Falkenburg scoring in the 27th minute.
