Emmanuel Adebayor got his name on the scoresheet in Istanbul Basaksehir's 5-0 demolition of Karabukspor in a Turkish Super Lig encounter.

The Istanbul outfit scored five goals in the first half which was enough for them to secure their 13thh top-flight win this season.

Just seven minutes into the game, Stefano Napoleoni opened the scoring and Gokhan Inler doubled the lead in the 20th minute courtesy of Edin Visca's assist.

And 11 minutes later, Visca got a goal of his own after been fed by Emre Belozoglu. The Bosnia and Herzegovina forward completed his brace in the 38th minute of the tie.

Adebayor then sealed victory two minutes before the break as he notched his ninth league goal this term.

The win takes Istanbul Basaksehir to the summit of the log with 42 points from 19 encounters.
They will be hoping to maintain their position when they clash with Konyaspor in their next Super Lig clash on February 4
