Antonio Conte has had a transformative effect on Chelsea.

After two highly disappointing defeats to Liverpool and Arsenal, the Italian has thrown the Blues' previous blueprint in the bin and devised a new 3-4-3 system that has seen them embark on a remarkable run of form.

Chelsea become Conte's blazing inferno

Chelsea has won five matches in a row since its formation change, scoring 16 goals and conceding none in that time.

Roman Abramovich's decision to part ways with Jose Mourinho last season did not immediately pay dividends, but the west London club is now beginning to feel the benefit of a new man with fresh ideas.

So much so that, amazingly, Conte has now won as many Premier League games in three months at Stamford Bridge as Mourinho has since the beginning of last season.

Chelsea has eight wins so far under Conte and top the table, while Manchester United has won four under Mourinho to add to the four wins the Portuguese recorded before his dismissal last December.

Hazard on the best scoring run of his career

Despite United's heavy backing of Mourinho in the transfer market, it seems Conte has found it easier to steer his team back into title contention so far.
