Eagles star tight end Zach Ertz left Sunday night's game against the Seahawks with a head injury in the third quarter and was ruled out for the rest of the game.

Ertz will not return to the game.

The team did not immediately say if Ertz suffered a concussion, but he's likely in concussion protocol considering the head injury forced him to leave the game.

Ertz had been one of Carson Wentz's favorite targets this season, hauling in 57 receptions for 663 yards and seven touchdowns, including 10 receptions for 102 yards and a touchdown last week against the Bears.

Trey Burton replaced Ertz in the lineup Sunday and immediately became a prime target for Wentz. Burton would be an intriguing fantasy pickup next week should Ertz miss time
