Dougie Hamilton delivered a win for the Calgary Flames on Tuesday night.

Hamilton received a pass from Johnny Gaudreau with 2:23 remaining in overtime and sent a wrist shot past goalie Alex Stalock to give Calgary a 3-2 victory over the Minnesota Wild at the Xcel Energy Center. The goal was Hamilton’s sixth of the season.

Calgary entered the third period with a 2-0 lead after goals by Micheal Ferland and Sean Monahan.

But Mikael Granlund scored for the Wild with 12:44 to play and Jared Spurgeon tied the game less than five minutes later, sending the contest to overtime.

The Flames moved to 22-16-4 on the year with the win, while Minnesota fell to 22-17-4
