The striker was caught shouting at his team-mates and miming that they were asleep after Leicester City went a goal ahead against the Premier League champions

Diego Costa slammed his Chelsea's team-mates during Monday's 2-1 defeat to Leicester City and accused them of falling asleep in defence.

The Premier League champions slipped to their ninth loss of the campaign following goals in each half from Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez.

After Vardy's opener, television replays showed Costa berating his fellow players, with the striker mimicking that his team-mates had fallen asleep.

The former Atletico Madrid forward hasn't been doing much better up the other end of the pitch this season.

He's scored just three goals in the Premier League so far, while he's only found the net once in six Champions League appearances.

“There’s nothing worse than a player coming back and telling other people what they should be doing, considering he’s been sleeping all season,” said former Liverpool defender and Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher.

"He's done nothing really for Chelsea this season considering what he did last year."
