Bryson DeChambeau has holed an eagle putt from 58 feet on the 16th hole to help him claim a one-shot PGA Tour victory over at the Shriners Hospital for Children Open.

DeChambeau carded a five-under 66 to finish at 21 under for his fourth win in his past 12 starts, and a career high of world No.5.

He has won for the third straight season and has five PGA Tour titles to his credit.

"I was able to play some great golf," DeChambeau said. "I'm happy to get it done."

DeChambeau had to survive a wild back nine at the TPC Summerlin in which four players had a share of the lead at some point.

Defending champion Patrick Cantlay had a one-shot lead until flubbing a bunker shot on the par-3 17th to make bogey.

One hole behind Cantlay, DeChambeau made his eagle putt to take the lead.

Cantlay birdied the 18th for a 65, but came up one shot short.

Fellow American Sam Ryder had a bogey-free nine-under 62 to be alone in third place on 19 under while Rickie Fowler (63), Mexico's Abraham Ancer (66) and Robert Streg (68) finished tied for fourth at 17 under.

Peter Uihlein, overnight co-leader with DeChambeau, slumped to a share of 23rd after a closing 75, to finish just one shot better off than Australian Tour rookie Cameron Davis (67), who tied for 28th.

Matt Jones carded a 70 to be tied for 57th while Australian veterans Rod Pamling (71) and John Senden (72) were well off the pace.
