Celtic are hoping to make it four wins in a row over their local rivals Rangers and further solidify their lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership in Saturday's Old Firm derby.

Brendan Rodgers' side already sit 12 points clear of second-placed Aberdeen and a further three ahead of Saturday's visitors, but after their recent 4-0 defeat to Hearts, they will be determined to end 2017 with a win over Graeme Murty's side.

Fresh off the back of a 2-0 win over Motherwell, the Gers will be hopeful of stopping the reigning champions from slipping further ahead of the pack.

GAME PREVIEW

Brendan Rodgers said recently that he wanted to end 2017 with a double-digit lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership and his side have accomplished that regardless of Saturday's results.

But the Bhoys could end up 16 points clear come the turn of the year should everything go their way.
Inflicting another defeat upon their rivals would be a big boost for a side hoping to get domestic affairs wrapped up early on to allow them to focus on their Europa League campaign, and they will be confident coming up against a side who have not beaten them for over five years.

With Moussa Dembele and Leigh Griffiths both fit for the derby match, Rodgers has a full attack to choose from against a side still struggling with inconsistency, injuries and with an interim manager at the helm
