Bryce Cotton’s ‘ankle-breaker’ makes ESPN’s Sportcenter’s top-10 plays

Bryce Cotton’s unreal finish to Perth’s stunning overtime win against Sydney has reached American shores, with the NBL MVP featuring on ESPN Sportscenter.

The star Wildcats import’s “ankle-breaker” made Sportscenter’s top 10 plays, coming in at number four.

He sent his Kings opponent Jerome Randle to the floor midway through the final term with a nasty crossover before sinking one from beyond the arc.

The fast-finishing Cotton, who was scoreless until late in the third quarter, came to life late in the thrilling 95-86 win to get the Wildcats over the line.

Despite missing his first 10 shots, the 26-year-old finished with 27 points.

The first 25 of his 27 points came in just 16 minutes.

Playing in front of a NBL season-high 13,520 fans at Perth Arena, who were chanting MVP, Cotton’s 14 points in overtime was the second-most by any NBL player.
