Championship-winning centre Angus Brandt is leaving Perth Wildcats, but four other Boomers have re-signed for their NBL clubs.

Sydney Kings trio Brad Newley, Kevin Lisch, and Daniel Kickert and Brisbane's Matt Hodgson all opted to stay where they are before the free agency period that starts on Monday.

Boomers stars Nathan Sobey (Adelaide), Cameron Baristow (Brisbane) and Nate Jawai (Cairns) among the big players on the list.

Brandt opted to exercise the Europe out-clause in his contract

The 29-year-old big man won two titles in three seasons with Perth, averaging 7.9 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.2 assists over 94 games.

"It was a very tough decision and one I haven't taken lightly. I love this team and the Wildcats organisation," Brandt said.

"A goal of mine has been to play in the European market and test myself over there. It's about challenging myself and seeing where I can take my career."

Kings' captain and two-time NBL MVP Lisch , who averaged 14 points and 3.2 assists per game, signed a new multi-year deal.

Dual Olympian Newley who like Lisch has played the last three seasons for the Kings, inked a new two-year contract with Sydney,.

The 34-year-old swingman averaged 10.8 points, 4.6 rebounds and two assists a game in the 2018-19 season.

Kickert and Tom Wilson, who both joined Sydney for 2018-19, were also confirmed as signings for next season.

Big man Hodgson has re-signed with Brisbane for two more seasons.

Hodgson, who was the starting centre for the Boomers during their World Cup qualifying campaign, had a league-leading 63 per cent field goal percentage in his first season with Brisbane.

He averaged 9.6 points and 6.1 rebounds per game and ranked sixth in the league for blocked shots.
