Arsenal are suffering an injury crisis that threatens to ruin their season with 10 players currently out of action ahead of the Premier League fixture against Sunderland on Saturday.

The Gunners discovered on Wednesday that Santi Cazorla faces three months on the sidelines with knee ligament damage, while star forward Alexis Sanchez is expected to miss a month with a hamstring injury.

They join the likes of Francis Coquelin, Jack Wilshere and Danny Welbeck on Arsenal's injury list ahead of a crucial December as they try to keep alive their hopes of winning the Premier League and qualifying for the last 16 of the Champions League.

Arsene Wenger also allowed the likes of Carl Jenkinson and Wojciech Szczesny to leave on loan last summer and the selection of unavailable players would probably give Arsenal's best currently available XI a run for their money.
