Bangladesh Cricket Board has decided to appoint interim team management for the national women team as head coach Anju Jain along with other two members have decided not to travel with the side to Pakistan. BCB has now turned to former head coach Dipu Roy Chowdhury for the tour that'll involve three T20Is and two ODIs to be played between October 26 and November 5.

"This is not in our hands [Indian coaches travelling to Pakistan]. It is more or less a diplomatic issue," former national opener Javed Omar, who has been appointed the team manager, said on Sunday (September 29).

Veteran cricket coach Imdadul Haq will act as the deputy of Chowdhury while Anowar Hossain will be the trainer during the tour.BCB chief executive Nizamuddin Chowdhury quashed any security threats and stressed they are comfortable travelling to Pakistan.

"We are in touch with PCB and we want to know what kind of security measures they have taken for the Sri Lankan team during the ongoing tour. The ICC is also monitoring everything," he pointed out.
