Alabama defeated Georgia 26-23 in overtime Monday to hoist the national championship trophy, and the coaches will soon be rewarded financially as well.

According to ESPN.com, Alabama coaches will receive $1.27 million in bonuses for winning the title. Defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt gets the largest bonus at $234,000.

Nick Saban, who earned his sixth national title Monday tying Bear Bryant for the most by a head coach in Poll Era (since 1936), gets the fifth largest bonus at $100,000. Saban now has more national titles than all other active FBS coaches combined.

Alabama closed out the season No. 1 in the final AP top-25 ranking. Georgia finished second, and Central Florida (13-0), dubbed national champions by the Florida governor, finished sixth
