Alabama men's basketball coach Avery Johnson made it clear Wednesday what he thought of the racist social media videos made by a former student.

Johnson said after the Crimson Tide's victory over No. 17 Auburn that Harley Barber's video was "vile" and "abhorrent" and that he was "really disturbed" by it. The university expelled Barber after her video surfaced. She later apologized for her actions.

Johnson then made it a point to discuss the makeup of his team's roster.

"We have a lot people in our organization ... our team that are from a lot of different backgrounds," he said (via AL.com). "Everybody (doesn't) look like me, but we accept everybody, OK? Wherever they're from, whatever their skin color is, all right? We accept everybody."

"We have some terrific players on our team from great families, whether they're single-parent, two parents, doesn't matter," Johnson added.

Johnson also lauded university president Stuart Bell and athletic director Greg Byrne for their "strong stands" on diversity and inclusion
