This year’s AFLX teams will be selected in a super-draft next week, with the tournament’s four captains each set to hand-pick their sides.

The draft, to be broadcast nationally on Fox Footy, will see each captain choose the remaining 12 players for their 14-man teams after vice-captains were confirmed on the weekend.

Bolts captain Patrick Dangerfield, Deadly captain Eddie Betts, Flyers captain Nat Fyfe and Rampage captain Jack Riewoldt will select their teams from a pool of players, with a limit of four from each AFL club allowed to compete in AFLX.

The draft will be held from 7pm next Wednesday, with the competition to take place at Marvel Stadium on Friday, February 22.
