Xiaomi has shared a new teaser for the notch-totting Redmi 6 Pro smartphone (which is set to be unveiled on June 25). The teaser reveals the device will come with an option in software to disable the notch.

This is good news as those who don't like notches can be able to easily disable it on their Redmi 6 Pro (recently, the Nokia X6 also received a similar option through an update). Moving on, more high quality images for the device - along with its retail box contents - have surfaced, offering view from every possible angle.

The device is also said to come with a built-in "Little Love Classmate" AI voice assistant, and offer features like face unlock.

Specs-wise, TENAA revealed the Redmi 6 Pro is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 2.0 GHz, and sports a 5.84-inch Full HD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio. Memory configurations include 2GB/16GB and 3GB/32GB, while the camera department is handled by a 12MP+5MP dual rear setup and a 5MP front shooter.

The handset runs Android 8.1 Oreo and packs in a large, 4,000mAh battery.
