Back in October it was revealed that vivo was working on a King of Glory edition for its X20 smartphone, following in the footsteps of BBK Electronics' sister brand Oppo with its R11 KOG model unveiled in September.

Now we're finally getting closer to the launch of the vivo X20 KOG edition, which will officially happen on December 8 - so exactly one week from today. This info was outed by vivo itself through Chinese social media channels.

The device will be priced at CNY 3,498, which at the current exchange rates translates into approximately $528 or €444. On the inside it's identical to the normal vivo X20, with one exception: the KOG special edition packs 6GB of RAM instead of 4GB.

The vivo X20 KOG edition will be offered in limited numbers. The company is already taking reservations for it. As you can see from the images above, it comes with a unique design, with a gold-plated KOG logo on the back above the also gold-plated vivo logo. It will ship in a special gift box, and the software is customized with a theme that's based on the game.
