TCL is expected to launch another BlackBerry smartphone by the end of the year, and that device might be the KEY2 LE that has just leaked last week. The “lesser” version of the BlackBerry KEY2, the KEY2 LE might be unveiled on August 30, as TCL has just confirmed a “Save the Date” event for the end of the month.

Obviously, we have no way of knowing for sure what device TCL plans to unveil on August 30, but the KEY2 LE is certainly a possibility. The new product will be announced at IFA 2018 and will probably be showcased at the trade fair afterward.

If TCL plans to introduce the BlackBerry KEY2 LE, we already have the phone's full specs sheet and a picture showing the front and back sides. Judging by the leaked list of specifications, the KEY2 LE is far from being a high-end smartphone.

The handset is said to be equipped with a Snapdragon 636 processor, 4GB RAM, and either 32GB or 64GB internal memory. Also, the phone will feature a 4.5-inch display with 1080 x 1620 pixels resolution and a 3,000 mAh battery.

There's no dual-camera on the BlackBerry KEY2 LE, but you should expect the phone to pack a 13-megapixel rear-facing shooter and a secondary 5-megapixel camera in the front. The only things left to determine is how much the KEY2 LE will cost and when exactly it will be available for purchase.
