In July, Swappa released a stand-alone Android app called Swappa Price. The free app makes the process of trying to figure out just how much a smartphone is worth when selling or buying, using data from sales completed on Swappa's website.

For the unfamiliar, Swappa is a marketplace where you can buy or sell used smartphones and wearables. The historical data of a device's value has always been a metric I've found useful when trying to set a price point for a gadget I'm thinking about selling.
You can view a graph containing the pricing trend for each device on Swappa's site , or you can use the company's dedicated pricing app to speed up the process.

Last month, Swappa released the iOS version of its Price app. After launching the app, select or search for a device. The same graph found on the company's website will then be displayed within the app, giving you a quick glance at historical data.

The data includes the high and low price of a completed sale within the past 24 hours, along with a chart of the historical price point for the past six months.

The timing of Swappa Price for iOS couldn't have been better, with the holidays fast approaching.
