On November 3rd, the Huawei Mate 9 will be unveiled. According to a previous leak, we expect three different variants of the phone to be unveiled. There will be a model with 4GB of RAM carrying 64GB of internal storage, a version with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, and the top-of-the-line unit with 6GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

Today, a Weibo post reveals what are alleged to be the specs for the most premium of the three variants. We expect to see a 5.9-inch screen with a 1440 x 2560 resolution. The home grown Kirin 960 chipset is under the hood featuring an octa-core CPU, and the Mali-G71 MP8 GPU. As we previously mentioned, there will be 6GB of RAM and 256GB of flash storage inside.

The back of the phablet sports a dual-camera setup. One of the cameras will be a 20MP snapper while the other weighs in at 12MP. A fingerprint scanner is placed underneath the dual cameras on the back, and Android 7.0 is pre-installed. A previous rumor had this premium version of the Mate 9 priced at the equivalent of $705 USD.
