Snap is bringing new options to those who wish to shop with their phones. The social network company announced it has started testing Visual Search, a new feature that enables Snapchat users to shop on Amazon with their phone cameras.

Visual Search is not yet available to everyone, but Snap says that it will be rolled out slowly in the coming days. Although Snap didn't mention it, we assume Visual Search will be launched on both Android and iOS platforms.

Here is how it works: point your Snapchat camera at a physical product or barcode, and press and hold on the camera screen to start the search process. As soon as the product or the barcode is recognized, an Amazon card will pop up on the display.

Tap on the link provided in the card to be redirected via the Amazon App to the product's page where you can complete your purchase. If you don't have the Amazon App installed on the phone, you will be redirected to Amazon's official website.
