It's been two and a half months since Samsung announced the start of its Marshmallow rollout for the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge (and almost seven months since the update was originally released by Google). Sprint was the first US carrier to upgrade the S6 to Android 6.0.1, later joined by T-Mobile and, most recently, Verizon - but AT&T customers have been left waiting.

As SamMobile noted, Samsung has updated its support page to show that the current Android version for AT&T's Galaxy S6 is 6.0.1 Marshmallow, bumping the software version up to G920AUCU3CPC2.

Customers on AT&T's support forums - many of who appear to be very frustrated with the carrier's lack of communication about its updates - spotted that change a few days ago, but it seems the carrier still hasn't begun the rollout, or given any indication of its plans to do so.

Nonetheless, it looks like their wait for Marshmallow may just be coming to an end - but there's still the long wait for Android 7.0 to look forward to...
