Samsung is keeping its word for the moment, as each month the South Korean company deploys new security patches for its “flagship devices.”

Unfortunately, world's first mobile vendor was never clear as to which are these smartphones and tablet included in the “flagship” segment.
However, we can expect the new update to be available on Samsung Galaxy S6 and all variants, Galaxy S5, Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy Note 5, but also on some tablets like Galaxy Tab S2.
Anyway, beginning this weekend, the February security patch for the devices mentioned earlier should start arriving in stages. According to Samsung, delivery time of security patches may vary depending on the regions and models.
The South Korean company also offered some details on the contents of this month's security patch but don't expect to find any new features or improvements. The handset maker announced that this February security update includes patches from both Google and Samsung.
To be more precise, there are no less than 10 patches in the update, which also containing the following 10 CVE items: CVE-2016-0803(C), CVE-2016-0804(C), CVE-2016-0807(C), CVE-2016-0808(H), CVE-2016-0809(H), CVE-2016-0810(H), CVE-2016-0811(H), CVE-2016-0812(M), CVE-2016-0813(M), CVE-2015-6614(M).

Some vulnerabilities aren't made public In addition to security fixes mentioned earlier, Samsung Mobile also confirmed that it will provide 7 vulnerabilities of its own and Exposure items, which are meant to “improve customer's confidence on security of Samsung Mobile devices.”
Among the 7 vulnerabilities and Exposure items included in the patch, there are a few memory corruption and buffer flow attacks. It's also worth mentioning that some of the vulnerabilities haven't been made public, so there are no details on them.
Keep in mind that these security patches are pushed OTA (over the air) in stages, so make sure you check out your smartphone/tablet for this maintenance update in the next couple of days.
