Samsung opened the pre-orders for the Galaxy Note 7 in India on August 22, and the company was supposed to ship the phablet starting September 2. However, Samsung announced a global recall of the smartphone internationally, but Samsung India remained tightlipped about the whole situation. Now, Samsung has announced that it will offer compensation to customers who preordered the Galaxy Note 7 in India.

As per Samsung’s announcement, customers who preordered the Galaxy Note 7 in India will be eligible to receive the new Gear VR (worth INR 7,290) and the Level U stereo wireless headset (worth INR 2,999) for free on the purchase of either the Galaxy S7 or the Galaxy S7 edge. The company will also provide them an Oculus VR voucher worth INR 3,300 ($50) and a one-time screen replacement for a period of 12 months from the date of activation of their new Galaxy S7 or S7 edge.

In case a customer doesn’t want to avail the offer that Samsung is offering on the Galaxy S7 or S7 edge, they will be eligible to get a full refund of the pre-booking amount from the retailer or the website they used to preorder the device.
