Both Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge come preloaded with Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system right out of the box, something that's been barred from use by the South Korean company.

Samsung has just kicked off the rollout of Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge, but it will take a while until it reaches all devices. None of the other high-end smartphones have received the update through official means, so we're still waiting.
But if you already pre-ordered the Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 edge, you will have the pleasure of trying out the new TouchWiz UI that Samsung is so proud of.
At least one T-Mobile customer got his pre-ordered Galaxy S7 edge smartphone earlier than expected and is now offering us a glimpse of what's to come.
XDA forum user altimax98 took a lot of screenshots that show Samsung's new TouchWiz skin that comes embedded in its latest Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge flagships.
If you've been following our previous news on Android 6.0 Marshmallow for Galaxy S6 and Galaxy Note 5, then you won't notice too many changes in comparison with TouchWiz UI on the Galaxy S7 edge.
Enable or disable Material Themes You will be able to choose how you want your Galaxy S7/S7 edge to look like as there are options that allow you to disable/enable Material Themes.
There are few more Apps edge options, which are not yet available on the Galaxy S6 edge unless it's running Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
And that's about it. We've attached most of the screenshots captured by altimax98 but didn't notice any significant visual changes in comparison with the latest Marshmallow builds for Galaxy S6 and Galaxy Note 5.
