We know it, you know it – the Samsung Galaxy S6 is a few weeks away from making an appearance into the wild at one of tech’s most popular international gatherings, MWC 2015.

We've heard all kinds of stories about the Galaxy S6 and its edgy counterpart and most of its specs have leaked online one way or another. We've also raided them for you and made up a list of four features you’ll probably love about the Galaxy S6 and four features you won’t like so much.

Anyway, while we wait on the official announcement, the Galaxy S6 (Edge) has already been spotted in benchmarking website AnTuTu with specs in tow (as seen at My Drivers).

AnTuTu reveals the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a high-performance beast

This is important because it finally confirms the fact that the Galaxy S6 will indeed take advantage of an octa-core Exynos 7420 chipset from Samsung’s own garden. This is a piece of silicone built on a 14nm process, unlike Qualcomm’s controversial Snapdragon 810 platform which uses a 20 nm node.

So yes, the Galaxy S6 (Edge) will be powered by an Exynos 7420 processor completed by an ARM Mali-T760 GPU and fitted with 3GB of RAM (not 4GB of RAM as it was rumored).

AnTuTu also reveals the Galaxy S6 Edge has a 5.1-inch display (of the Super AMOLED variety probably) with an advanced resolution of 1440 x 2560 and 567ppi.

You’re also going to see 32GB of internal storage onboard, an advanced 20MP camera up in front and a 5MP one as a selfie snapper.

What’s more interesting is that the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge managed to score a whopping 60,978 points in AnTuTu, which is by far the highest we've ever seen around.

Remember that Meizu’s MX4 which got named the most powerful Android smartphone of 2014 managed to grab only 47,765 points. As you can see, the difference is pretty notable.

As AnTuTu provides a break-down of test scores, we notice that compared to the Exynos 5433, the Exynos 7420 performs a lot better in 3D object visualization.

By the looks of it, the Samsung Galaxy S6 (Edge) is going to be quite a beast, something we were pretty much expecting. Come March 1 Samsung will finally reveal its long-awaited flagship at its Unpacked event.
