The back-and-forth with Samsung Galaxy S5-related leaks has been going on for a while, but now that we're at the final stretch, hushed voices are joining into a chorus. For starters, no 20-megapixel sensor. This has been one of the more agreed-upon points with the upcoming Samsung juggernaut, and it does seem that we now have yet another confirmation that the unit will tout 16 million pixels.

A "test photo for AT&T" from the Galaxy S5 (model number SM-G900A), courtesy of @evleaks, exposes some details around the sensor thanks to the attached Exif sheet. The full resolution shot is 5318x2988 pixels, which neatly adds up to exactly 15.9MP, a number that fits perfectly with the unconfirmed information provided in a separate leak from a while ago. We also now know that the camera on Sammy's new flagship will sport an f/2.2 aperture, which is one variable that helps with nighttime shots.

With the MWC just around the corner, it won't be long until we know for sure whether these are, indeed, accurate.
