After a number of reports published over the summer, Samsung’s plans to introduce three Galaxy S10 models are certainly no secret. Today, this is once again confirmed by a new leak that has revealed the exact model numbers of each device.

Starting off with the most premium model, the device will presumably be marketed as the Galaxy S10+. When it comes to preparing and pushing out software updates, though, the smartphone will be known as the SM-G975. Similarly, the 5G variant of this will presumably use the same model number along with some extra letters or numbers on the end. When it comes to the regular Galaxy S10 variant, this will be known as the SM-G973. The cheaper Galaxy S10 device, on the other hand, will use the model number SM-G970.

On a separate note, the display characteristics of each device were also reconfirmed alongside the model numbers. In the case of the Galaxy S10+, this will make use of a new 6.44-inch curved edge panel that looks set to boast a 19:9 aspect ratio. This same display will also be fitted to the regular Galaxy S10, albeit in a smaller 5.8-inch format. Lastly, the panel of the iPhone XR-rivalling Galaxy S10 Lite will also sit at 5.8-inches in size. Interestingly, though, it will be a much more conventional flat display.

As mentioned countless times before, the Galaxy S10, S10+, and S10 Lite (or however they will be called) are set to make their international debut in February at MWC 2019. In the meantime, though, Samsung’s focus appears to be on boosting sales of its Galaxy A lineup with the new Galaxy A7 (2018) and the upcoming Galaxy A9 Pro (2018).
